Special Coaching program for NCC Entry
During the training of NCC, the candidates are given basic military training. This training is conducted to develop the interest of young students in all three forces: The Indian Army, The Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force. NCC offers the platform to the students to be able to join the Indian Defence Services. That’s why one of the benefits of NCC certificate is that the candidate gets some relaxation during the selection.
As an NCC cadet you have already trained in the various service subjects now it is time to take it up as a career and to live a life less ordinary.

Educational Qualification –
Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years.
Services in NCC -Should have served for minimum two/three years (as applicable) in Senior Division/Wing of NCC.
Grading – Should have obtained minimum ‘B’ grade in ‘C’ Certificate Examination of NCC.
Vacancies Short Service Commission : NCC Men – 50 , NCC Women – 05
As Regular officers in Indian Army : 64 seats per year
As Regular Officers in Indian Navy : 12 seats per year
As Regular Officers in Indian Air Force : 10% of all available seats reserved
Indian Army Benefits to NCC Certificate Holders (Other Ranks) :
Indian Army :
(a) 5% marks are added to NCC ‘A’ Certificate holders
(b) 8% added to NCC ‘B’ Certificate holders
(c) NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders are completely exempted from appearing in CEE.
(d) 10% bonus marks will be awarded in the written exam
Indian Navy :
Direct Entry Sailor(MER), Artificer Apprentices Diploma Holder
(a) ‘A’ Certificate – 22 Marks
(b) ‘B’ Certificate – 44 Marks
(c) ‘C’ Certificate – 66 Marks
Indian Air Force
(a) ‘C’ Certificate – 5 Marks
(b) ‘B’ Certificate – 4 Marks
(c) ‘A’ Certificate – 3 Marks
(d) ‘A’ Certificate Part I & II – 3 Marks
(e) ‘A’ Certificate Part I only – 2 Marks
Central Reserve Police Force Benefits to NCC Certificate Holders
• For joining as Officers (Company Commanders, Quartermasters and Dy SPs) the minimum prescribed qualification is a Second class Bachelors Degree. However, NCC ‘B’ OR ‘C’ Certificate holders having a Third Class Bachelors Degree are also considered eligible.
Central Industrial Security Force Benefits to NCC Certificate Holders
• Additional marks at the scale of 1 mark for ‘B’ Certificate holders and 3 marks for ‘C’ Certificate holders are given to candidates in the rank of ‘Constable’.
Coast Guard Benefits to NCC Certificate Holders
• Additional weightage between 03 and 10 is given to candidates for joining in both Officer cadre as well as Enrolled personnel.
